Birth of Certideal, return on a unique concept
The Certideal adventure, a refurbishing specialist, began in 2015, when the founders of Certideal had to buy, in their professional context, several second-hand smartphones and tablets for application tests and refurbish them.
It was difficult for Laure and Yoann to find a reliable and secure service, and high-tech products that were both very cheap and of good quality. Conscious of the ecological impact of high-tech products, they turned to reconditioned phones. However, their disappointment at receiving non-compliant products led them to think about how the refurbished market could be improved. They then decided to transform the refurbished market by bringing their expertise and their quality requirements.
This is how the idea of Certideal was born: a website selling reconditioned, verified and certified high-tech products, which benefit from long warranties, equal to those of the new market, but which do good to our planet.
The innovation proposed by Certideal
Quality assurance and transparency is what makes Certideal so unique. In our premises, each reconditioned phone is carefully tested, verified and certified by an expert before being shipped to the buyer. Since Certideal checks every phone received, no bad surprises are possible.
Unlike other online sales sites offering several sellers of reconditioned phones, or "marketplace", Certideal is an expert and unique intermediary between the buyer and the seller. The ISO 14001 standard allows us to promote and control our environmental management approach. With this certification, we have a standardized and reliable framework for developing a viable and effective environmental management strategy.
These certifications are in no way a legal obligation, but are based on voluntary action. They confirm our approach and our efforts to limit and control our environmental impact. They imply a requirement for continuous improvement of our recycling and risk management procedures, which are regularly re-evaluated in order to achieve this objective.
